Kidde Pro fire extinguishers are designed to effectively address Class A, B, and C fire hazards typically found in light industrial, commercial, and residential settings. The Pro 5 MP model features a pressure gauge for at-a-glance status, and is crafted from lightweight aluminum with a durable metal valve assembly. Key features include corrosion-resistant painted aluminum handles and levers that enhance ease of operation, bilingual nameplates for simplified use and servicing, and a multipurpose ABC dry chemical extinguishing agent. The unit is backed by a six-year limited warranty and is UL listed and rated 3-A, 40-B:C. It comes with a wall hanger, large loop durable stainless-steel pull pins, and is suitable for most common fire types. The extinguisher uses monoammonium phosphate and includes a clear instruction label with graphics for operation steps, an easy-to-pull safety pin, a tough impact-resistant metal valve, handle, and lever, as well as a powder-coated cylinder for corrosion protection. The unit contains 5.5 lb. of fire extinguishing agent on average and includes a UL approved wall hanger. It is also U.S. Coast Guard approved when fitted with a mounting bracket (not supplied), with the approved bracket part number being 466400.
