The IdealArc® 250 is a robust stick welding power source from Lincoln Electric, capable of producing up to 300 amps of AC welding strength and 250 amps of DC welding performance. It is designed for a range of applications including stick, gouging, and TIG welding, making it compatible with low hydrogen, stainless steel, hardfacing, aluminum, and bronze filler metals. Key features include outstanding arc stability with a built-in stabilizer for popout-resistant welding with all AC electrodes, a versatile welding range, and a full range continuous current control dial with a current indicator for precise heat adjustments. The welder allows for easy polarity changes among AC, DC+, or DC- with a simple twist, and features a stackable case design that permits machines to be stacked three high to conserve floor space. The unit is also fan-cooled, providing additional thermal protection. Included in the package is one IdealArc® 250 stick welder with power factor capacitors.
