3M™ Dual Lock™ fasteners are designed to fasten heavy items, creating a durable and more permanent bond. This product features rigid plastic stems that interlock for hundreds of closures, utilizing a rubber-based adhesive on the back of a polypropylene, reclosable fastener. The type 170 stem density is compatible with types 250 or 400 but does not interlock with itself. The kit includes 150 feet of usable product, and it is specifically designed to bond to various materials, including many plastics, powder-coated paints, and other low surface energy materials. Suitable for indoor use, the fasteners can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees F. The stems interlock with DK3M115 or DK3M128, with a density of 170 stems per inch.
