The Reed R5120 is a non-contact voltage detector designed to detect the presence of AC voltage from a safe distance and features a built-in flashlight. This device includes the capability to check receptacles or insulated wires for AC voltage presence and quickly determine magnetic field presence with its dual functionality. It supports two voltage ranges, allowing it to detect both high (90 to 1000V) and low (24 to 1000V) AC voltage wiring. Key features include a double insulated housing for increased safety, audible (buzzer) and visual (LED) indicators, an auto shut off function, and a pocket clip for convenience. The R5120 also boasts a CAT. IV 1000V safety rating for added protection. The kit includes the non-contact voltage and magnetic field detector along with batteries. Ideal applications include assessing the presence of AC voltage before circuit work and verifying the operational status of components such as solenoid valves, relays, contactors, permanent magnets, and electromagnets.
