The Reed R9500 Brix refractometer measures the concentration percentage of soluble solids, specifically sucrose, in a sample, with a measurement range of 0 to 32%. It requires only 2 to 3 drops of a sample for analysis and has been calibrated based on the sucrose content in 100g of cane sugar. This refractometer features easy operation with straightforward scales, automatic temperature compensation (ATC), and a prism and lens with a simple focus adjustment, ensuring repeatable results. It boasts an accuracy of ±0.2%. The package includes the refractometer, a cover plate, a calibration screwdriver, a cleaning cloth, a solution/sample applicator, and a hard carrying case.
