The Solstice Bed combines exceptional strength and durability with a design that promotes patient comfort and security, allowing for bolting to the floor based on the environment. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, with molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattress sliding. The design accommodates a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6"; mattresses are sold separately. An angled lowered side rail facilitates easier entry and exit, and the bed is both sound dampening and easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. It can be secured to the floor via concealed pilot holes compatible with user-chosen hardware. The Solstice Bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability standards UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It is flame retardant per CAL 133 standards and has been evaluated with a noise generation test RAL-AN23-010, showing half the decibels compared to steel. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the bed is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. Patent pending.
