The Solstice Bed combines exceptional strength and durability with a familiar, home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security. The bed features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design made of high-impact "no break" polyethylene, and includes molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding. It is designed for use with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6"; mattresses are sold separately. The angled lowered side rail facilitates easier entry and exit, while the bed offers sound dampening and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. It can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes with hardware of your choice. The Solstice Bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability standards UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It also passes the flame retardant standard CAL 133 and has undergone a noise generation test (RAL-AN23-010), which indicates it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the bed is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. Additionally, it is patent pending.
