The Endurance™ Bed 1.5 is a versatile, heavy duty, medium sized sleep surface designed for continuous, intensive use environments, featuring a durable, one piece, rotationally molded design made from high impact "no break" polyethylene, eliminating steel or wood components. It accommodates a 30" x 75" mattress with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2". The bed includes molded in side slots for property box storage, which can be reverse-mounted if desired, and molded in end shelving for open storage of personal items, providing a total side storage capacity of 4.0 cu. ft. across two compartments. Its sound dampening qualities support a static load of 2000 lb, and the unit is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. Field-installed restraint rings are available, and the bed can be bolted to the floor via concealed pilot holes using hardware of your choice. It passes flammability standards according to UL 94 HB and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. Flame retardant test reports (CAL 133) are available upon request. The Endurance™ Bed 1.5 is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA and has been tested for noise generation according to RAL-AN23-010, which concludes that it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. It comes with a 10-year factory warranty, is GREENGUARD Gold certified, and is designed to be ligature resistant.
