The Solstice Bed merges unparalleled strength and durability with a familiar, home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security, with the option to bolt it to the floor depending on the environment. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, with molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding. The bed is designed for use with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended 6" thick mattress (sold separately), and includes angled lowered side rails for easier entry and exit. It is sound dampening, easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and can be secured to the floor via concealed pilot holes with user-chosen hardware. The product is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. Additionally, it is flame retardant (passes CAL 133) and has been subjected to a noise generation test (RAL-AN23-010) that concludes it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the bed is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty.
