The Solstice Bed combines exceptional strength and durability with a design that promotes patient comfort and security, making it suitable for various environments, including the option to be bolted to the floor for added stability. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction made from high impact "no break" polyethylene, which includes molded-in raised head and footboards to prevent mattress sliding. This bed is designed to accommodate a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommendation for a 6" thick mattress (mattresses sold separately). The angled lowered side rail enhances ease of entry and exit, while the sound dampening properties contribute to a more tranquil environment. The bed is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and it includes concealed pilot holes for bolting to the floor using hardware of your choice. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability standards UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating a >99% reduction in bacteria. Additionally, it is flame retardant (passes CAL 133) and generates half the noise compared to steel, as confirmed by noise generation test RAL-AN23-010. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the Solstice Bed is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. It is also patent pending.
