The Endurance™ Bed 1.5 is a versatile, heavy-duty, medium-sized sleep surface designed for continuous, intensive use environments. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design constructed from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring increased strength without the use of steel or wood components. Designed for a 30" x 75" mattress, a 4-1/2" thick mattress is recommended for optimal fit. The bed includes molded in side slots for property box storage, which can be reversed to eliminate this feature if desired, and molded in end shelving for open storage of personal items. The bed offers 4.0 cubic feet of side storage across two compartments, sound dampening capabilities, and supports a static load of up to 2000 lb. It is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and field-installed restraint rings are available. Additionally, the bed can be bolted to the floor via concealed pilot holes with compatible hardware. The unit passes flammability testing per UL 94 HB, has been tested to ISO 22196 showing over a 99% reduction in bacteria, and flame retardant test reports (passes CAL 133) are available upon request. It is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, with a noise generation test (RAL-AN23-010) indicating half as many decibels produced compared to steel. The bed comes with a 10-year factory warranty, is GREENGUARD Gold certified, and is ligature resistant.
