The Solstice Bed combines exceptional strength and durability with a familiar, home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security. This bed is made from a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction using high-impact "no break" polyethylene, featuring molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding. It is designed to accommodate a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6", sold separately. The bed includes an angled lowered side rail for easier entry and exit, sound dampening features, and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. It can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes with hardware of your choice. The Solstice Bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability testing according to UL 94 HB, and demonstrates a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria per ISO 22196 testing. Additionally, it passes flame retardancy standards set by CAL 133 and generates half as many decibels as steel in noise generation tests. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the bed is also ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. Patent pending.
