The Solstice bed merges unparalleled strength and durability with a more familiar, home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security. This bed features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design for increased strength and is constructed of high-impact "no break" polyethylene with molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding. It is designed for use with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6", noting that mattresses are sold separately. The bed includes angled lowered side rails for easier entry and exit, sound dampening qualities, and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. It can be bolted to the floor via concealed pilot holes with hardware of your choice. The Solstice bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It also meets flame retardant standards by passing CAL 133 and demonstrates a significant reduction in noise generation, producing half as many decibels compared to steel as per the noise generation test RAL-AN23-010. The bed is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, is ligature resistant, and is backed by a 10-year factory warranty. This product is patent pending.
