The Solstice Bed combines exceptional strength and durability with a home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction made from high impact "no break" polyethylene and includes molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattress sliding. The bed is designed for use with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended mattress thickness of 6 inches, sold separately. Additionally, it has angled lower side rails for easier entry and exit, sound dampening properties, and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. The bed can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes and hardware of your choice. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability standards UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. The Solstice Bed is flame retardant (passes CAL 133), and a noise generation test (RAL-AN23-010) indicates it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. It is manufactured in the USA to ISO quality standards, is ligature resistant, and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. The product also has a patent pending.
