The Solstice Bed is designed to merge unparalleled strength and durability with a more familiar, home-like aesthetic, enhancing patient comfort and security. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring increased strength. The bed includes molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding and is designed to accommodate a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6", although mattresses are sold separately. Its angled lowered side rail allows for easier entry and exit, while the sound dampening feature minimizes noise. The bed is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes and hardware of your choice. It is Greenguard Gold certified and passes flammability standards with UL 94 HB, as well as CAL 133 for flame retardancy. Additionally, it has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria, and the noise generation test RAL-AN23-010 indicates it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, the bed also features ballast doors for added stability, is ligature resistant, and comes with a 10-year factory warranty.
