The Endurance® Wall Mount Bunk is designed for continuous, intensive use in environments such as jails and prisons, where it reduces ligature points and eliminates hazardous edges associated with metal bunks. This first-of-its-kind, all-plastic wall bunk features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring it contains no steel or wood components. It can be bolted to walls using pilot holes with hardware of your choice and is designed for use with a 30" x 75" mattress, with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2". The design allows for space-saving double bunk use and offers the option to install a ladder or all-purpose shelves for easy access to the upper bunk. Additionally, it can be paired with wall bunk safety rails for enhanced security and features sound dampening properties. The product has undergone extensive testing, including cycle testing with a 250 lb. load cycled 70,000 times and static load testing of 2,000 lbs. for 24 hours with residual deflection under 3". It is easy to clean and sanitize, passes flammability testing per UL 94 HB, and shows a >99% reduction in bacteria as per ISO 22196. It is flame retardant, passing CAL 133, and is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA. It also meets ASTM WK57116 for steel bunks and is GREENGUARD Gold certified, ensuring a low chemical emissions standard. The product is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty, with a patent pending status.
