The Endurance™ Wall Mount Bunk is designed for continuous, intensive use in environments such as jails and prisons, featuring a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded construction made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, eliminating metal and wood components to reduce ligature points and dangerous edges. The bunk is bolted to the wall via pilot holes, accommodating a 30" x 75" mattress, with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2", allowing for space-saving double bunk use. Optional accessories include the Endurance Wall Bunk ladder and all-purpose shelves for easier access, as well as wall bunk safety rails for enhanced security. The product is sound-dampening and has undergone rigorous testing, including cycle testing at a 250 lb. load cycled 70,000 times, and static load testing at 2,000 lbs. for 24 hours with residual deflection under 3". It is easy to clean and sanitize, passes flammability standards (UL 94 HB), has been tested to ISO 22196 showing a >99% reduction in bacteria, and meets CAL 133 flame retardant standards, with test reports available upon request. Manufactured in the USA to ISO quality standards, it also passes ASTM WK57116 for steel bunks, is GREENGUARD Gold certified, and features a ligature-resistant design. The product comes with a 10-year factory warranty and is currently patent pending.
