The Endurance™ Wall Mount Bunk is engineered for continuous, intensive use in environments such as jails and prisons. This innovative wall bunk features a durable, one-piece rotationally molded design constructed from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, eliminating any steel or wood components and significantly reducing ligature points and sharp edges. It is designed to be bolted to the wall using pilot holes and hardware of choice, accommodating a 30" x 75" mattress with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2". The design allows for space-saving double bunk use and includes options for adding a ladder or all-purpose shelves for easier access to the upper bunk. For additional security, the bunk can be paired with a wall bunk safety rail. It offers sound dampening capabilities and has undergone rigorous testing, with a cycle test of 250 lb. load cycled 70,000 times and static load testing at 2,000 lbs. for 24 hours, while maintaining a residual deflection under 3". The bunk is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, passes flammability tests per UL 94 HB, and shows over a 99% reduction in bacteria as tested by ISO 22196. It meets CAL 133 flame retardant requirements, and relevant test reports are available upon request. The product is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA and passes ASTM WK57116 for steel bunks. It is also GREENGUARD Gold certified and ligature resistant, backed by a 10-year factory warranty, with a patent pending status.
