The Endurance® bed 2.1 is a versatile, heavy-duty, large sleep surface designed for continuous and intensive use environments. It includes optional molded-in side slots for property box storage, enhancing structural span strength, and features molded-in end shelving for the open storage of personal items. The bed is constructed from durable, one-piece, rotationally molded high-impact "no break" polyethylene, intended for use with a 36" x 80" mattress; a 6" thick mattress is recommended. The angled lowered side rail facilitates easier accessibility, while the storage capacity includes 2.3 cu. ft. from two end shelves and 4.0 cu. ft. from two side compartments. The bed can be bolted to the floor via concealed pilot holes using hardware of your choice, and field-installed restraint rings are available. The design offers sound dampening and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, with mattresses and Barracuda boxes sold separately. It is flame retardant (passes CAL 133) with test reports available upon request and has been tested to ISO 22196, demonstrating a >99% reduction in bacteria. The bed is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, is Greenguard Gold certified, and is ligature resistant. It comes with a 10-year factory warranty.
