The Endurance™ wall mount bunk is designed for continuous, intensive use in environments such as jails and prison cells, featuring a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design that enhances strength. It is constructed from high impact "No Break" polyethylene, eliminating steel and wood components, which reduces ligature points and dangerous edges. The bunk can be bolted to the wall using pilot holes with hardware of your choice and is designed for a 30" x 75" mattress, with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2". The space-saving design accommodates double bunk use and allows for the optional installation of an Endurance wall bunk ladder or all-purpose shelves for easy access to the upper bunk. For added security, it can be paired with one of the wall bunk safety rails. The bunk features sound dampening capabilities and has undergone extensive testing, including cycle testing at a load of 250 lbs. cycled 70,000 times and static load testing up to 2,000 lbs. for 24 hours with less than 3" residual deflection. It is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, passes flammability tests (UL 94 HB), and has been tested to ISO 22196 showing a >99% reduction in bacteria. The bunk is flame retardant (passes CAL 133) with test reports available upon request, manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, and passes ASTM WK57116 for steel bunks. Additionally, it is Greenguard Gold certified, ligature resistant, and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. Patent pending.
