The Endurance™ wall mount bunk is designed for continuous, intensive use environments, providing a solution for jail and prison cells while reducing ligature points and eliminating dangerous edges associated with metal bunks. This first-of-its-kind, all-plastic wall bunk features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design made from high-impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring strength without steel or wood components. It can be bolted to the wall using pilot holes and hardware of your choice, accommodating a 30" x 75" mattress with a recommended thickness of 4-1/2". The design optimizes space for double-bunk use, with optional installation of the Endurance wall bunk ladder or all-purpose shelves for easy access to the upper bunk. Safety can be enhanced by pairing the bunk with wall bunk safety rails, and it also offers sound dampening features. The bunk has undergone rigorous testing, including cycle testing at 250 lbs. cycled 70,000 times, and static load testing up to 2,000 lbs. for 24 hours with residual deflection under 3". It is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, passing flammability tests per UL 94 HB and showing a >99% reduction in bacteria as per ISO 22196. Additionally, it is flame retardant (passing CAL 133), manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, compliant with ASTM WK57116 for steel bunks, and Greenguard Gold certified, ensuring it is ligature resistant. The bunk comes with a 10-year factory warranty, and it is currently patent pending.
