The Solstice Bed is designed to merge strength and durability with a familiar, home-like aesthetic, enhancing patient comfort and safety. It features a one-piece, rotationally molded construction made of high impact "no break" polyethylene, which offers increased strength and durability. The design includes molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding, and it is compatible with 36" x 75" mattresses or smaller, with a recommended thickness of 6" (mattresses sold separately). The bed includes angled lowered side rails for easier entry and exit, sound dampening capabilities, and is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain. It can be bolted to the floor through concealed pilot holes, utilizing hardware of your choice. The product is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability tests (UL 94 HB), and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It also passes CAL 133 for flame retardancy and has demonstrated significantly reduced noise generation compared to steel in the RAL-AN23-010 test. Additionally, the bed is manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, features ballast doors for stability, and is ligature resistant. The Solstice Bed comes with a 10-year factory warranty and is currently under patent pending status.
