The Solstice Bed is designed to provide unparalleled strength and durability while offering a home-like aesthetic to enhance patient comfort and security. It features a durable, one-piece rotationally molded design constructed of high-impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring longevity. The bed includes molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding, and is compatible with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended mattress thickness of 6"; mattresses are sold separately. The angled lowered side rail facilitates easier entry and exit, while the sound dampening design contributes to a quiet environment. Additionally, the bed is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes with hardware of your choice. The Solstice Bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability UL 94 HB, and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a greater than 99% reduction in bacteria. It is also flame retardant (passes CAL 133) and has demonstrated half the noise generation in comparison to steel, as per noise generation test RAL-AN23-010. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, it includes ballast doors for weighing down beds and is ligature resistant. The bed comes with a 10-year factory warranty and has a patent pending status.
