The Solstice Safeguard Bed is designed to provide therapeutic support and enhance the safety of fall risk patients. It features a durable, one-piece, rotationally molded design made from high impact "no break" polyethylene, ensuring increased strength. The bed is equipped with molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding, and seamless raised wall panels running partially along both lengths to minimize the risk of falls and fall-related injuries. It accommodates a mattress size of 36" x 75" or smaller, with a recommendation for a 6" thick mattress, which is sold separately. Additionally, the bed includes a safety rail for added protection against falls, an angled lowered side rail for easier access, and sound-dampening characteristics. It is easy to clean, sanitize, and maintain, and can be bolted to the floor using concealed pilot holes and hardware of your choice. The bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified, passes flammability tests under UL 94 HB, and has undergone noise generation tests (RAL-AN23-010) confirming it produces half the decibels compared to steel. It has also been tested to ISO 22196, showing greater than 99% reduction in bacteria, and meets flame retardant standards (CAL 133). Manufactured in the USA to ISO quality standards, it is ligature resistant and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. This product is patent pending.
