The Solstice bed merges unparalleled strength and durability with a more familiar, home-like design to enhance patient comfort and security, and it can be bolted to the floor depending on the environment. It features a durable, one piece, rotationally molded design constructed of high impact "no break" polyethylene, with molded-in, raised head and footboards to prevent mattresses from sliding. The bed is designed for use with a 36" x 75" mattress or smaller, with a recommended 6" thick mattress (mattresses sold separately). Additional attributes include an angled lowered side rail for easier entry and exit, sound dampening capabilities, and easy cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance. The bed can be bolted to the floor via concealed pilot holes with hardware of your choice and is GREENGUARD Gold certified. It passes flammability UL 94 HB and has been tested to ISO 22196, showing a >99% reduction in bacteria. The bed also meets flame retardant standards (passes CAL 133) and has undergone noise generation testing (RAL-AN23-010), concluding it produces half as many decibels compared to steel. Manufactured to ISO quality standards in the USA, it features ballast doors for weighing down beds, is ligature resistant, and comes with a 10-year factory warranty. Patent pending.
