The 55-gallon barrel and drum heater from PowerBlanket® features a state-of-the-art heating system that surpasses traditional band heaters by uniformly distributing heat across the entire drum's surface. The BH55PRO model, which requires 1360 watts to operate, is constructed with a flexible aluminum and a super-rugged industrial-grade vinyl shell infused with alloy, ensuring durability. This drum heater is water-resistant and suitable for both poly and steel drums, making it versatile for various applications. It is equipped with an adjustable smart digital thermostatic controller that allows users to set the temperature from ambient up to approximately 185°F / 85°C (with a variance of 5°F / 3°C) while automatically adjusting to varying fluid levels. The heater's design includes three individual heat zones that provide targeted and distributed heat to eliminate hot and cold spots, preserving the integrity of temperature-sensitive materials without the risk of overheating or burning. Additional features include buckles and straps for a secure fit, an insulated full wrap design for ultra energy efficiency, and the ability to prevent product waste by maintaining consistent temperatures. This model is ETL certified to UL / CSA / CE safety standards.
