The TuffCrimp 12 ton hydraulic crimping tool applies an impressive 12 tons of hydraulic force for effortless crimping, featuring a head that can rotate 350° for access in tight spaces. It includes an automatic pressure-release mechanism as well as a manual retract function after crimping. This tool is compatible with industry-standard dies and is equipped with a built-in safety valve that by-passes the oil supply when maximum pressure is reached. The crimping tool is designed for crimping compression lugs and connectors onto copper, aluminum, and ASCR (Aluminum Conductor Steel-Reinforced) wire and grounding rods. The crimping range spans from AWG 6 to 750 MCM, with a stroke length of 1.65 inches, dimensions of 21-1/4 inches in length, and a weight of 14 lbs. The kit includes dies for AWG 6, AWG 4, AWG 2, AWG 1/0, AWG 2/0, AWG 3/0, AWG 4/0, as well as dies for 300 MCM, 350 MCM, 500 MCM, 600 MCM, and 800 MCM.
