The Drifire® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight protective garment designed to balance comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls offer the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon. Key features include two front pockets with secure snap closures for essential storage and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs, achieving an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and certified as CAT level 2. The coverall is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash safety, UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269 regulations. Care instructions specify to wash separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, without the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. Proper laundering is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
