The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight garment designed to combine comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls offer the softness of cotton with the strength of nylon, ensuring breathability while providing protection. Key features include two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs, with an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2. The coverall complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to launder according to the instructions on the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and fabric softeners. The garment should be washed separately from other items in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and is also dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants remain after washing, discontinuation of use is advised.
