The DRIFIRE® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified to protect against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water repellent duck that helps shed moisture and a lightweight quilted liner to keep you warm. This bib includes convenient disconnect adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, along with ample pockets for carrying essentials. Key features include a concealed heavy duty snap fly closure, double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, two tool pockets on the sides, and a double chap front with an opening for knee pads. It provides a comfortable custom fit with waistline sizing and has an arc rating of 16 cal/cm², categorized as Cat 2. Constructed from 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, this product complies with multiple safety standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash hazards in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to follow the garment label instructions, avoiding chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softeners, and starch, while being machine washable in warm water (maximum 165°F / 74°C) with detergent only, and dry cleanable. Adhering to proper care instructions is crucial to maintain fabric performance, particularly when the garment becomes soiled with contaminants. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
