The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight protective garment designed to balance comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a 6.5 oz. cotton-nylon blend, it combines the softness of cotton with the strength of nylon, ensuring breathability while providing essential protection. This coverall features two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage of essentials and covered snaps designed to enhance protection against electric arcs, achieving an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as CAT level 2. It meets rigorous compliance standards, being compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, compliant with ASTM F1506 for arc flash, compliant with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and compliant with OSHA 1910.269. For proper care, it is recommended to launder according to the garment label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The coverall should be washed separately from other garments, with a machine wash at warm temperatures (max. 165°F/74°C) using detergent only, and is dry cleanable. Following these care instructions is essential to maintain fabric performance and ensure safety when the garment becomes soiled.
