The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight, premium cotton nylon blend garment designed to provide an optimal combination of comfort, durability, and safety. It features the softness of cotton paired with the strength of nylon, along with two front pockets that have secure snap closures for convenient storage. The coverall includes covered snaps for enhanced protection against electric arcs, ensuring both safety and durability. Weighing in at 6.5 oz, it boasts an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and falls under CAT level 2. The coverall is compliant with various safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Proper product care is essential; the garment should be laundered according to the instructions on the label, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, softeners, and starch. It should be washed separately in a machine at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) using detergent only, and it is also dry cleanable.
