The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is designed to provide an exceptional balance of comfort, durability, and safety, constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton-nylon blend that ensures breathability while protecting the wearer. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage of essentials, and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs, achieving an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Category 2. This coverall is compliant with multiple safety standards, including NFPA 70E, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For proper maintenance, it is recommended to follow the garment care instructions, which include machine washing separately in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents with either, fabric softeners, or starch. Regular laundering according to these guidelines is essential to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance, and if contaminants persist post-laundering, discontinuation of use is advised.
