Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight garment designed to balance comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton-nylon blend, these coveralls provide breathability while ensuring protection. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage, and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs. The coverall has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is classified as CAT 2. Compliance standards met include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the provided instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing these substances. The garment should be washed separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only and is dry cleanable. Following these care instructions is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when the garment becomes soiled with contaminants such as dirt, grease, and oils. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
