Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight garment that strikes the ideal balance between comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls offer breathability while ensuring protection. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets equipped with secure snap closures for reliable storage, and covered snaps designed to enhance protection against electric arcs, boasting an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and a Cat level of CAT 2. The coverall complies with various safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), along with OSHA 1910.269 regulations. For product care, it is important to launder according to the garment label instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and any detergents containing these substances, as well as fabric softeners and starch. The recommended washing method is to machine wash separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) using detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper care is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, greases, or oils; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is advisable to discontinue use.
