The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight and durable garment designed for safety and comfort. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this coverall offers the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon. It features two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage, and covered snaps that provide enhanced protection against electric arcs. The coverall has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2. It is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, compliant with ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 for arc flash, and adheres to OSHA 1910.269 standards. For care, it is recommended to wash separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and to avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or fabric softeners. It is also dry cleanable, and proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants persist after washing, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
