The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight and durable protective garment crafted from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend that combines the softness of cotton with the strength of nylon, ensuring a comfortable fit while maintaining safety. It features two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage of essentials and covered snaps designed to enhance protection against electric arcs. The coverall has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is classified as Cat 2. Compliance is assured with certifications including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as adherence to OSHA 1910.269 standards. For product care, it is recommended to follow the care instructions on the garment label, which include machine washing warm (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, and starch. The garment should be laundered separately, and if contaminants cannot be removed after washing, it is advisable to discontinue use.
