Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight coverall that offers an ideal combination of comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls provide breathability while ensuring protection. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage, and covered snaps designed to enhance protection against electric arcs. The coveralls have an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and are classified as Cat 2. They comply with NFPA 70E for arc flash, are UL certified to NFPA 2112, meet ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash (Canada), and comply with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to follow the garment label instructions for laundering, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents that contain these substances, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The coverall should be washed separately from other garments in a warm machine wash (maximum temperature of 165°F/74°C) using detergent only, and it is dry cleanable. Proper care is crucial to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed, it is advised to discontinue use.
