Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight coverall designed to balance comfort, durability, and safety. Made from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls offer the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon for breathability and protection. Key features include two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage, and covered snaps to enhance protection against electric arcs, boasting an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and a Cat level of Cat 2. This coverall complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash in Canada, in addition to complying with OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is essential to follow laundering instructions on the garment label, including machine washing separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, or starch to maintain fabric performance. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
