Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight coverall designed to provide a balance of comfort, durability, and safety. Made with a 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this coverall combines the softness of cotton with the strength of nylon for breathable protection. Key features include two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs, boasting an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2. The coverall complies with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards for arc flash, along with OSHA 1910.269 compliance. For product care, it is recommended to follow the garment label instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch. Laundering should be done separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and the garment is dry cleanable. It is crucial to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants and maintain fabric performance; if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
