The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight garment designed to offer a blend of comfort, durability, and safety, constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend that ensures breathability while providing protection. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage, and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs. The coverall has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and is categorized as CAT 2. It complies with several industry standards including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 compliance for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269 regulations. For product care, it is important to follow the laundering instructions on the garment label, which recommend machine washing separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, and starch, and to discontinue use if contaminants remain after laundering.
