Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls provide breathability while ensuring protection. Key features include the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage, and covered snaps that enhance protection against electric arcs. The coveralls have an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and are classified at Cat level 2. Compliance standards met by this product include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Proper product care involves following the garment label instructions for laundering, including washing separately in warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. For maintaining fabric performance, it is crucial to wash the coverall as specified to remove any contaminants when soiled; if contaminants persist after laundering, discontinuing use is recommended.
