Presenting the DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall, a lightweight protective garment that strikes the perfect balance between comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, these coveralls offer the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, ensuring breathability and protection. Key features include two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage and covered snaps designed to enhance protection against electric arcs. The coveralls boast an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and are classified as Cat 2. In terms of compliance, the garment meets several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is recommended to read the garment label and launder according to the specified instructions, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, detergents containing either, fabric softeners, or starch. The coverall should be washed separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) using only detergent, and it is dry cleanable. Proper laundering is essential to maintain fabric performance, especially when soiled with dirt, greases, or oils, and if contaminants persist post-laundering, discontinuation of use is advised.
