The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is designed for optimal comfort, durability, and safety, crafted from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend that ensures breathability while providing protection. It features the softness of cotton coupled with the strength of nylon, enhancing both comfort and durability. The coverall includes two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage of essentials, and covered snaps enhance protection against electric arcs, achieving an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and categorized as Cat Level 2. This coverall complies with multiple safety standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada), and OSHA 1910.269. Care instructions emphasize reading the garment label for laundering guidelines, advising against the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing these substances, as well as fabric softeners or starch. To maintain fabric performance, it is recommended to wash separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and to dry clean if necessary. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is advisable to discontinue use of the garment.
