The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight protective garment designed for optimal comfort, durability, and safety. Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, it offers the softness of cotton combined with the strength of nylon, ensuring breathability and protection. The coverall features two front pockets with secure snap closures for reliable storage of essentials, and its covered snaps enhance protection against electric arcs, boasting an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2. This coverall is compliant with several safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. For proper maintenance, it is advised to launder according to the garment label instructions, avoiding hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, as well as fabric softeners or starch, and to wash separately from other garments in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only; it is also dry cleanable. Adhering to these care instructions helps maintain fabric performance, especially when contaminated with dirt, greases, or oils. If contaminants cannot be removed, discontinuing use of the garment is recommended.
