The DRIFIRE® FR Essentials Coverall is a lightweight garment designed for optimal comfort, durability, and safety, made from a 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend. It combines the softness of cotton with the strength of nylon, ensuring breathability while providing reliable protection. The coverall features two front pockets with secure snap closures for convenient storage of essentials and covered snaps to enhance protection against electric arcs, boasting an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as Cat 2. This product is compliant with several industry standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 for arc flash, CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, and OSHA 1910.269. Proper care involves laundering according to the garment label, avoiding the use of hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, fabric softeners, and starch, and washing separately from other garments at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) with detergent only. The coveralls are also dry cleanable, and it is recommended to discontinue use if contaminants cannot be removed after washing to maintain fabric performance.
