The Drifire® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified to protect against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water-repellant duck exterior that sheds moisture, while a lightweight quilted liner provides warmth. This bib includes convenient disconnect adjustable buckles on each shoulder strap and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, along with ample pockets for carrying essentials. Key features consist of a concealed heavy-duty snap fly closure, double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, and two side tool pockets, along with a double chap front that has an opening to insert knee pads. The waistline sizing offers a more comfortable custom fit. The arc rating is 16 cal/cm², and it is classified as Cat level 2. The material is made of 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish. Compliance certifications include NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 compliance for arc flash, and compliance with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada. Additionally, it meets OSHA 1910.269 standards. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions, avoiding chlorine bleach and detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softeners, or starch. The garment is dry cleanable and can be machine washed warm at a maximum temperature of 165°F (74°C) with detergent only, ensuring to wash following the specified instructions to maintain fabric performance when soiled with contaminants. If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is recommended to discontinue use of the garment.
