The DRIFIRE® FR Deluxe Insulated Bib is dual certified for protection against flash fire and arc flash hazards, featuring a water repellant duck that sheds moisture and a lightweight quilted liner for warmth. This bib includes convenient disconnect adjustable buckles at each shoulder strap and a 26" zipper calf closure for easy boot entry, supplemented by multiple pockets for carrying essentials close at hand. Key features include a concealed heavy duty snap fly closure, double bib pockets, two back patch pockets, two tool pockets on the sides, and a double chap front with an opening for knee pads, along with waistline sizing for a custom fit. The bib boasts an arc rating of 16 cal/cm² and is categorized as CAT 2, made from 13 oz. 100% FR cotton duck with DWR. It complies with various safety standards, including NFPA 70E for arc flash, is UL certified to NFPA 2112, and adheres to ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 for arc flash, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is important to follow the laundering instructions on the garment label, avoiding chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softeners, or starch; it is dry cleanable and machine washable in warm water (max. 165°F / 74°C) with detergent only. Proper washing is essential to maintain the fabric's performance against contaminants. If contaminants remain after laundering, discontinuation of the garment's use is recommended.
