Constructed from a premium 6.5 oz. cotton/nylon blend, this shirt ensures breathability while offering protection. Key features include two front chest pockets for additional storage, a back pleat for ease of movement, and a design made in the Dominican Republic with fabric sourced from the USA. With an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm² and classified as CAT 2, this work shirt meets several compliance standards, including NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 for arc flash, UL certification to NFPA 2112, and compliance with CSA Z462 for arc flash in Canada, as well as OSHA 1910.269. For optimal care, the garment label should be followed for laundering; it is crucial to avoid hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, and detergents containing these, as well as fabric softeners or starch. The shirt should be washed separately in warm water (max. 165°F/74°C) with detergent only, and is dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, it is essential to wash according to these instructions to remove contaminants, and if contaminants cannot be removed, discontinuing use is recommended.
