Introducing the DRIFIRE® flame-resistant essentials work pant, a lightweight pant designed for all-day comfort and durability. Engineered with flame-resistant technology, these jeans provide superior protection in hazardous work environments. Key features include lightweight, durable flame-resistant fabric, two front slant pockets for easy access and convenient storage, and two back welt pockets for a professional appearance while ensuring secure storage. The pant has an arc rating of 9.2 cal/cm² and belongs to Cat level 2. The material consists of a 7 oz. cotton/nylon blend. In terms of compliance, the product is compliant with NFPA 70E for arc flash, UL certified to NFPA 2112, and meets ASTM F1506 for arc flash, as well as CSA Z462 for arc flash (Canada) and OSHA 1910.269. For product care, it is advised to read the garment label and launder according to the instructions provided. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide, chlorine bleach, or detergents containing either, and do not use fabric softeners or starch. The recommended washing procedure is to wash separately from other garments in a machine with warm water (maximum 165°F/74°C) using detergent only; it is also dry cleanable. To maintain fabric performance, clean any contaminants like dirt, greases, or oils promptly, and if contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
